Hey Rob.  I really like this.  This is a brilliant idea.  It feels like a random act of intrusion, of getting away with something that's illegal, but harmless.  I could imagine this happening on a national level--you know the character drives across the US and stops in various suburbs to shoot baskets in randomly selected driveways.
