I followed the course

from chaos to art…

From Book of Longing by Leonard Cohen

In this early morning, she opened the window of the cottage in the heart of the countryside. In fact, she hasn’t been to the countryside for ages. Looking at the raw landscape through the window made her fidget with her thoughts, forgetting that her foundation and lipstick had thawed away in the heat of last night. This made her want to see words naked, raw without any cosmetics, devoid of politics and ideology. “I don’t want anything to stain their innocence because I just want to see them in their first moments of purity, even if they might lose a lot of weight,” she said. Moments later, the wind stole all her clothes that were scattered around the room, and scattered them along the ground in the immaculate countryside, while she was lying raw in the bathtub.

I just want to see them in their first moments of purity, even if they might lose a lot of weight -- fabulous.
