"He's sat with Mr. Sanchez every day for a week talking to him, just talking to him" one nurse told the other as she motioned toward the man sitting at the bedside of the aforementioned Mr. Sanchez.

"I didn't think he had any family. Do you think he knows that we are pulling the plug today?" the second nurse asks.

"He should, it says so right on the door as you walk in. You can't help but notice it."

The man suddenly stood, bowed to Mr. Sanchez and left the room. The nurses saw tears in his eyes.

"Did you know him well?" the first nurse asked him.

The man gave a sad smile and said "No, I didn't know him at all. But no one deserves to die alone do they?" Just then the alarm on the monitors started their shrill tone and they turned to the noise. They turned back but the man was gone.

Do you deal with death? Or deal out death? Or do you deal the cards for death? :)

as a death dealer, I'd say that was well written but fatally flawed.
