What can YOU say in six sentences?

I have been a Doctor in an Emergency Room for more than 13 years, so you can believe me when I tell you I've seen people at their best, and at their very worst. Then one night my life changed when they bought in a police officer with four gunshot wounds ... one bullet had penetrated his left eye, exiting at the side of the head in a trail of devastation that left exposed and damaged brain in it's track, another bullet had shattered his clavicle (collarbone) and exited through the scapula (shoulder blade) leaving a blow hole that would not have looked out of place in Yellowstone Park. The third bullet had passed through his chest collapsing the right lung and the final bullet had careened around in his gut before lodging on the inside of the pelvis in a bed of shattered organs ... any one of these shots would have killed him, yet somehow he survived two hours, crying for his wife and daughter as we worked flat out to save him, knowing full well there was no hope, I believe 'pissing into the wind' is the expression that covers it.

The police bought the shooter in as we declared their comrade dead, they had trapped him in an alleyway somewhere and surprisingly bought him down with just one shot to the leg, and now he was laying in front of me awaiting treatment for a serious, but generally non-lethal wound.

Well, I'd had enough, I'm sorry Hippocrates, but that oath no longer had any meaning for me, and I decided to cure disease as I saw fit, so it wasn't difficult to accidentally nip the femoral artery and let it pull up into the pelvic cavity and then fumble around trying (not) to find it while your subject bleeds out.

And now this is the way of it, if you come into my Emergency Room and you are not pure of heart, your next stop will be on a beautifully engineered, shiny, steel sliding drawer, in a clean white tiled and very ... very cold mortuary.

Dr. Vigilante strikes again. I'd like some more about him.
