What can YOU say in six sentences?
I can be silenced.
I can be muted, mooted, made to shrink.
I can be put in my place far beyond your reach.
I can hold my tongue and hold my heart in cupped hands, careful not to spill the shards or the liquid hurt.
I can be run off, made to hide in the secret places until the moon rises and danger is past.
I can be silenced, sure.

I may play with some gloomy topics here for a bit as I muck around in the brainstorming of the fiction. http://sixsentences.ning.com/profiles/blogs/leaving-pieces and http://sixsentences.ning.com/profiles/blogs/trailer
poetic as ever!

"liquid hurt" is PERFECT. And I like the "sure" eye roll. Lovely.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 3, 2012 at 11:21am But your writing speaks volumes and we would not forget. Great six.
Comment by Robert Morschel on June 3, 2012 at 8:02am But not for long, hopefully. Elegant.
I like this a lot. Enough detail to make me think, enough space for me to bring my own experience to the meaning. Loved “the liquid hurt.”
