What can YOU say in six sentences?

I was as nervous as a schoolgirl, my palms sweating and my breathing shallow. I had a rose in my hair and Todd would be here soon. As I glanced into the hallway mirror, I realized that my reflection hadn’t changed, but still I primped my hair once more. With my attention distracted from the window at which I’d held vigil, I didn’t notice my beau’s approach until the doorbell heralded his arrival. I jumped with surprise, my anticipation reaching a crescendo. I couldn’t help but think that this time, this man, would be the one and my search for a companion would be complete.

My inspiration was a demonstration of a voice recognition program at work. The speaker said "Guttentag", German for "Good day." The voice recognition program wrote "Rose in her hair and Todd". I liked it so much I wrote it down and a couple of months later, I ran into it again when I was looking for something to write six sentences about.

Yep, just like a girl longing for love. This one is old - and has been looking a while but change a few words and she could sound young and just as eager. May I ask, what was your inspiration?
