Today I cut long stems of pussy willows as the snow fell all around.

Today I read a quote about being kind because everyone is fighting a horrendous battle in some way, and I thought maybe I would have liked to have known Plato... maybe sat on his lap and braided his beard while he spoke.

Today I battled paypal, invoices, the cost of shipping supplies and media mail, found five copies of the book that were printed upside down, made intelligent and not-so-intelligent stacks of books all over my office, and ate some black bean soup I didn't like very much.

Today I joined Western Writers of America and felt like a fraud, but then I read a review of the book and decided to hold my head up high.

Today I thought about happy problems, thanked a stranger for doing something really cool, and sat at my computer too long.

Today is passing just as the clouds overhead are moving on, revealing blue, and tomorrow I'll walk in mud.

By the way, Cita, if you had sat on Plato's lap, I doubt the good philosopher woud have kept things Platonic.

Excellent layout of an ordinary day that has transcended if only in minor ways, and now you have made it a permanent circle on your calendar. Bravo for the review that was so kind and appreciative. You really are on the move, and that you could stop and find pleasure in this day is a marvelous thing.
