i have your betrayal right here in my side, next to your brown eyes and warm skin. i can't stand the pain of not feeling you here, but only in my dreams. i hear your voice and see your smile and memorize each word your sweet mouth makes. i wake and wrestle with the thought of writing what just happened in my dream, though it is not real it feels like adultery. if i do not write this dream, the memory fades; i lose your smile, your voice, this moment. what do you do with a dream that wants to be real?

If not loss, if not heartbreak, somewhere, sometime, everyone has asked that last question. Way to add some weight to it. Nice work.

Powerful stuff. That dream where someone who is gone has returned is like a fresh wound.

By the way: greatest profile pic ever.
