Politicians have no conscience.....Do we?

The conspiratorial phone call by the governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, with an alluded Koch brother is more amazing than galling in the deafening silence of our nation to this moral outrage; this article is not about political affinity, it is about morality!

Here was a governor freely conspiring with a supposed radical Bircher to possibly kill innocent protesters and destroy our democracy and not have the decency to offer to resign or apologize to his state is unconscionable and our nation only smirks at his stupidity of being duped when his clear intent was to behead the unions and line the pockets of the Koch brothers with a ‘no bid’ contract to give them the state owned utility companies and went on to ‘out’ other like-minded fellow governors in New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan who all aspire to be our president with the help of the Koch brothers radical millions in their campaign coffers.

This is the same right-winged Fascist group that brought (and bought) us Nixon, Reagan and Bush who depend on our silence to meet their own ends as they line their pockets with blood money over the bodies of the middle class yet we decry this type of behavior in countries throughout the world and sit back and let it happen in our own.

I only suggest one thing; we are writers; write to your local newspapers and congressmen; write to every forum you belong to; write of the things that have happened in the last few years; Wall Street thieves; bank frauds; billion dollar Ponzi schemes; and now the last vestige of our collective being; the freedom of our democracy!   

The proof that the internet can create a revolution is on the front page of every newspaper in the world with the fall of Algeria, Egypt, Libya and numerous rumblings throughout the world.

If you are tired of being a ‘second class’ citizen in your own country, and being continually raped and pillaged by purchased politicians, then you will let your written words be heard and if you do not have the time, at least pass this article along!

Funny. I was just planning to go join a demonstration at our Capitol tomorrow (Sat.) to show solidarity with the Wisconsin workers.  The Kochs and Raytheon (the nation's largest manufacturer of high tech weaponry and surveillance systems) buy and sell politicians like we buy a pack of gum. I agree that people of conscience should be writing and speaking out. And you just did.
