As soon as he set foot inside, he noticed the atmosphere was relaxed, too relaxed.

The only personnel in sight was the nurse at the front desk, who seemed to speaking on the phone, and there were no patients or other civilians in plain view either.

He found it quaint, but it was their way of working things and he decided to put it past him and rush off to the boy's room, to see how he was doing.

Standing in front of the door, he wanted to knock and had his knuckle in one inch away from it, but something prevented him from knocking, it felt too impersonal to do it.

Therefore, he put his hand on the knob, pressed it and opened the door.

Paul was laying on the bed, reading a book, with no care in the world and that relieved Greg, because of the nightmare.

Yes! This story is at it's best when Paul and Greg are interacting. I like that he just walked in, like a good friend and mentor would.

Back to Paul now. That's good.

Greg has worried so much.  It is good to see him unwinding.
