Day and night, there is only this pain in my face..

It is excruciating.  For three days I've had no solid food, I have been to a dentist and a doctor,  but they couldn't   find a cause.

I sleep to get away from the pain using Lortabs, Lyrica and Xanax.  When they wear off, the pain begins all over and I  grab the pill bottles.

I once wrote a short story about a dying man on morphine and I imaginatively wrote,  "The pain clawed through his medication,"  and I recall thinking at the time, "that verb might be too extreme"  but folks, it surely wasn't.

My prayers go to out to you. I have lived in mock ten pain and did not know I had a tumor. A year after surgery I am a new woman. If you have the opportunity, see others to get a fresh opinion.  We change as we age, you never know when we get sick, if it could be a new food allergy or the onset of something hereditary. Healing vibes your way.

Oh honey.  I hope this goes away soon and you can rest in peace.

Is it related to migraine?  Sometimes you do get facial pain and it can be excrutiating.

Gita, this is a good 6, but I worry it's not fiction. I hope you'll get relief soon. When I look in our medication cabinet it's like a pharmacy. I loved that line ..."The pain clawed through his medication," but only if it's not you.
