Out of Town… But Never Desafinado

The wind remembers me with a billowing breeze that tickles and delights like tips of a familiar hand on foreign ground.

I slept away on this summer's day dreaming only of the blades of grass beneath me and how they felt across my skin.

They were weighted and still, while the nature around them continued to waltz in time to air blown kisses blown by childish clouds across a bright blue sky.

The trees and bushes became interchangeable partners, whisked west, with some  flowering foliage intertwined in their branches, making the delicate limbs appear covered in adornments.

I drifted off on a song that kept time in my mind with hums and moans of longing...

My memories favorite mix tape is filled with magnetic moments that are spooled to be savored on days like today.

a hug for your ears :-)

The last line was pure poetry. '...magnetic oments that are spooled to be savored on days like today.' great stuff. Truly an ear hug. :) very nice

Ahhhhhhhh! The perfect place to sleep with the perfect music. I used to have this very album, on vinyl. Were the blossoms overhead by any chance crepe myrtles?  Thank you for this lovely interlude.

What a wonderful sound and a narrative to match.
