Yesterday was my birthday and I didn't invite "SANDY" to my party, but she slapped the windows and knocked at the door. We went out and she rocked the car. Geeez three more days of this in VA Beach.

 

October 28th

They just announced one of VA Beach's last wooden fishing piers has damage. Is nothing sacred?

Stephen, I'm glad to hear that you came through okay and have power. We lost ours for a while. We did okay, some around us didn't;  but no one here lost their lives. Even though we've dealt with this all our lives it is never easy.

We hope that you've made it through the storm. Our electricity finally came back on and we're getting back to normal.

Thanks, Toby. I hope the trees stay off  your house? I hope they stay planted. We've had so much rain I think ours will start toppling over at any time. We have a generator but have to drag it up to the third floor and put it on the balcony.
