What can YOU say in six sentences?
The gleam in Clare’s brown eyes didn’t dim when Ben sat across from the table to share a thought. They’d had a rough six years but this last one was the toughest!
“We need to get away before one of us has a breakdown,” he said.
She stirred her Chai latte and waited for what came next…with all the responsibility of Margo and the business how could they get away?
Seeing his wife’s questioning look “Don’t worry the kids said they’d help; I have it all arranged, we’re going on a cruise.”
“You know,” she allowed happy tears to flow “I love you more at this moment than when we first got married.”

Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 3, 2012 at 11:18am Thanks, "T". I reccomend it for everyone. A total escape. We hadn't been anywhere for almost two years.
I can't wait to try this one day. They have Disney cruises for kids which would probably be our best bet. But they also have childcare, I believe...;-) Congratulations on six days of stress relief. Revisit mentally as needed.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 2, 2012 at 10:34pm Oh, BC. I hope you will. Thanks for the caring and sharing.

Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 2, 2012 at 8:15pm Thanks for the favorite, Rob. :)
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 2, 2012 at 8:14pm Thanks, Gita. We already went. Just got back. It was so relaxing. No stress whatsoever. Even when we walked in the rain. We went to the Bahamas. We drove twenty minutes to Norfolk and boarded the The Glory. The price was cheap and we were pampered for six days. We were home for ten minutes and all the stress started again. We love our condo on the water, been here for eleven years and next door for seven years. etc. I'm a VA Beach native, and Tom wouldn't live anywhere else.
Comment by Gita on June 2, 2012 at 5:24pm Where will you be going?
I do not envy you for going on a cruise. But I envy you for living on water.
This was lovely and you did a fine job with the page layout.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 2, 2012 at 4:40pm Thanks, Stephen. I couldn't reduce the picture and it was hard to squeeze the story in, let alone use proper spacing.
Comment by Stephen Torelli on June 2, 2012 at 4:10pm Nice scene, both written and photo. I see cruise ships like that in New York Harbor... terrific.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on June 2, 2012 at 9:38am @ Rob... love chocolate, but it hasn't lowered the stress enough. :)
@Robert... that's me. I was thrilled.
@Mike... Thanks. My neighbor took this picture from our back yard as the ship came through the passage way of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and passed our house.
