One day, when you feel like picking up and browsing through a good magazine, read MudSpots (.wordpress.com).

Had I been wearing them, reading MudSpots most recent e-dition blew my socks off with what some writers can do with 250 words. As a frequent contributor, I feel a little weird about being a commenter on a site at which I feel like I'm a guest writer, but that's just a personal hang-up that probably keeps me unfairly quiet for truly praiseworthy efforts, and folks? There's some shit-hot writing that's happened of late, and I don't count my efforts among them, can't hold a candle.

Themed/prompted writing seemed a turn-off until the cadre of contributors demonstrated how far and wide and out of the box some stories can go and still claim relevance to the provided impetus.

Michael, is it true MudPubs is launching "MuDPatties," exclusively for women's works?

it's a different format and people's flavors are coming through... and i soooo enjoy tracking in the mud we're all leaving behind. :)

I visit both of Michael's sites when I have the time.  Always a great place to read. Thanks for the heads-up.

I agree with Sandra.

Hear, hear!!

And as far as commentating is concerned, rather than be embarrassed about doing so because you appear there, why not take the view that it is less than mannerly to enjoy and not say 'Thank you'  to the others ;-)
