We've been awake half the night, me and Oliver. It was so quiet. We wondered what we would do to fill today. All interest in writing, and everything else, gone.

But she's turned up, just strolled up for breakfast, dirty but well, our dear dear cat Doodle (her pictures are on my page) and we're so relieved and happy. Now, it's on with the motley...
