The lozenge clicks against my teeth. The menthol square slides across my tongue as the vapors permeates the roof of my mouth creating a rich saliva.

My medicated breath makes conversation with me more palatable. My palate however, is in the process of being coated by a film of white gak, which robs me of experiencing other flavors.

My nose is becoming clear with an eucalyptus and sugar infusion. I'm in a clouded haze of medicated bliss and the fortune printed on my lozenge wrapper tells me; I've survived worse.

When your lozenge wrapper starts telling you things, you KNOW you are medicated! Wonderful description here.

damn anglo/american confusions...

I spent some time trying to figure out why you were hawking up on a conveniently placed wooden framed pallet before realising it was probably the translation for palette ;)

Paxton, I am wondering why "bliss" is one of your tags. ;-)
