What can YOU say in six sentences?
She goes into the studio with a full band: drums, fiddle, non-pedal steel, lead guitar, base, keyboard.
Of course, the musicians are all The Best, but her fine, fine lyrics turn to mush, and the songs turn to noise.
She can't see that less is more.
On her third husband she realizes that she no longer needs date nights, romantic gifts, counselling, "better sex" books and videos, role-playing... and a night on the couch with books, a fire, and a plate of cheese and olives sounds just about perfect.
He holds her hand.
She goes to the studio this time with her guitar, a sheaf of new notes, naked.

That reminds me of "prayerfully" from G the other day. No other writer, no not even your favorite one, the one that won those awards and has sold all those books, could have put better words in that place.
Show, don't tell, and this fits the bill perfectly. The whole thing holds together seamlessly.
The soft but abrupt transition from four to five is breathtaking. Then six sums it up perfectly. Very nice.
