I always feel that whatever I write here has to be very inspirational.  That I can't just write about run of the mill matters here and ordinary things that occur in my day to day life. God only knows where I got such an idea. It's not as if these sentences are loftier than my other sentences, so I shouldn't treat them that way or try to write  that way, otherwise I may get intimidated and develop writer's block and that won't do at all. I need to take these writings down a notch or two and make  them a reflection of how I really am and how I really think and not some blown up literary attempt at pretty prose. Having said that, I will now get down to business and write something plain and ordinary.

Thanks Diana, I guess I'd like to be something for everyone, but that would be too much to ask :o)

The real beauty of 6S is that the style and content of the writing is so diverse. There is room for the mundane as well as the extraordinary; the uplifting as well as the thought-provoking; the simple tale as well as the amazing story. Something for everyone.

Thanks Gita. I hope I'm forgiven many trespasses. I'll be adding bits and pieces now and then. None of them will be lofty. You do give me hope.

If I had to be lofty, that would eliminate 99 percent of my posts. I mean, for half of the time I've been on 6S, I wrote about a family of Alabama rednecks whose major concerns were staying out of jail, cold beer and chasing ambulances at 2 a.m. The kind folks on here forgave me my trespasses, never expecting more from me than I delivered.   Make yourself at home!
