Her Feelings Were Just a Little Hurt

Margaret was standing at the sink, staring out the window at a bright half-moon.  She was drinking a bit of Miralax in some grapefruit juice, and thinking about how much better it was than Metamucil.  Suddenly, the ghost of her little white dog came around the corner.  He headed toward the back door as if he wanted to be let out.  Then he vaporized.  After rinsing out her glass, Margaret turned and headed toward her bedroom, wondering why he never slowed down to even look in her direction.

Neat..a whisper of a thought, a ghost and a heartbeat.   Nice.

It's that "bright half-moon."  And like Ron says, a succinct account. Nice.

Sometimes I am oh, so curious about how you come up with subjects.  And then I am just grateful that you do.

Nice and concise.  Dog ghosts visit us all, don't they? Only you write about one.

Love the totally realistic moment of comparing Miralax to Metamucil mixed with the appearance and disappearance of her dog's ghost. Great six.

Brief moment outside reality nicely captured. Well done.
