The 6S Social Network

What can YOU say in six sentences?

I just found out the Moon is moving away from the Earth at about 3.5 centimetres per year ... THAT'S WELL OVER AN INCH ! As if I haven't got enough to worry about what with global warming, global recessions, stegosaurus flu (yeah yeah, you're saying you never heard of that one, well I bet it's out there somewhere...).

And it's the last ever series of ER, the sunspot minimum is the deepest for a century and beer has just gone up 20p a pint at my local. As if all this isn't enough to worry about the Moon is looking to take off and live a life of it's own, thus screwing up any possible investment I might make in tidal power stations.

There seems little doubt the Universe is out to get me, and a time for wailing and gnashing of the teeth will soon be upon us. WE'RE ALL DOOMED ... DOOMED I SAY ... (I wonder if the pub's open yet).

With neighbors like Earth, who could blame the moon for moving away?

You know, I actually paid $30 bucks so my little brother could own a piece of the moon. Yep, he owns a full acre somewhere in the sea of tranquility. The property is supposed to be passed down like three generations which won't do his offspring any good if the moon flipping flies into to outer space. Sheesh. Doomed indeed. Especially with that tyrannasaurus rex flu you were talking about. I heard it's passed in pancakes. So don't eat any pancakes with your beer, kay?

This was fun. ;)
