Glimpse of a Boy

I snapped a photo of you the other day, and I swear it was like time stood still. Your little hands were pressed against the door, looking out of the window at your daddy as he mowed the lawn. You're so naturally curious; it's one of my favorite things about you (although that's just one of MANY things I love about you).

 

In that moment, I caught a glimpse of the little boy you will soon be, a little boy who would rather be outside helping daddy, than inside watching him.

 

I can't wait to share all of those future amazing moments with you, but for now, I'm so grateful for the tiny little toddler that you still are; that you don't mind mommy scooping you up and showering you with kisses, because you are just too darn cute for words.

 

Even on your worst days, I wouldn't trade even one little thing about you, because who you are is exactly what I was missing to complete me.
