Gita's "What if", from another direction

what if he'd been sober that night.

what if she'd  been braver.

what if  she had waited.

what if he had come back.

what if they had gotten married.

what if they hadn't, after all.

good point, Edward.  Step into the other set of loafers for a bit, see what happens

Psyche-1-o-1.....Women play this this retroactive game but men rarely do!........Why????

My only thought is that for men, 'IS' is more relevant than 'WAS'!

Now here's a writing challenge of 'he' thinks; 'she' thinks!.........Post it and see what transpires.

What if and what if some more.  Love the last line.  It's interesting, the things we can't know.  It's all a big leap of faith.  How many psychics have told you things you ignored, that you wish you hadn't?  A psychic once told me, "I see two men in your life.  And they're both trouble."  Oh my.  How had she known?  I ignored her.  She was just an employee at the Renaissance Festival, right?  The Tarot cards just ink and paper, right?  Big mistake.  Mine, for ignoring.  I could never tell that story in only six.
