Foray into Fetish: A Series by Angela and Joey

The whole thing was Angela’s idea, an inspired one, at that.

She suggested we do a series about people who engage in certain sexual fetishes, but not to poke fun, not to make them into caricatures, but to humanize them, to get under their skin for six sentences and try and find out why they do what they do.

We have not pulled any punches in regards to the fetishes we have chosen, and there are moments of dark humor (hopefully), but mostly we hope to convey our own unprofessional hypothesis of what makes these people tick.

Indeed, it was inspired, but by Joey's fearless writing, which made me feel I had found a friend who was as interested in all aspects of life as I am.

We welcomed fierceness with regards to criticism in an effort to produce our best possible work for you, and I join him in hoping we have humanized something most folks either laugh at or deride. 

In our writing and discussions, we came to believe that fetishists desire connection as much as anyone else, but seem to have imprinted sexually on objects or actions that never satisfy, much like a bird who imprints on a human and never learns to fly.
