In my dreams,
where i am nestled away, warm and safe
i feel you behind me, your body curving into mine, your breath warm on my neck and i feel you are there
in my dreams he is there, and he is there with me, and i can feel his smile, i can feel his hands holding onto my waist.
In my dreams you are there holding me, in my dreams he is there trailing behind me
in my dreams you are smiling, in my dreams he is laughing.
in my dreams you kiss my lips, as delicate as a new flower,
in my dreams he embraces me with tenderness .
in my dreams i am torn between you both, why cant you leave me be
in my dreams they are my lover and my almost lover,
in my dreams you are both real
but when i wake, you are both there..
and when i wake you are both real
in my dreams i can see you both smiling
why can't this be when i am awake. why must it be.
