He watched the Kardashians leave. They were not the real Kardashians of course, just two dark haired beauties who worked for the style magazine next door. Dressed in high boots, thigh-riding skirts and popular sunglasses that hid their true identities like Rodeo Drive celebrities, they bounced into a gold Mercedes and after some mirror time, peeled away. He wondered if their perfume was light and airy or if they wore any perfume at all. He wondered if either ever noticed him. The white-haired ghostly reflection in the windowpane suggested not.

Great reverie.  I loved "mirror time."  I've seen young girls putting on mascara using the rear view mirror--while driving!!

'popular sunglasses' and 'mirror time' - really loved this one Paul, bittersweet.

I love the wistful peeping tom feeling of this, Paul, especially the thinking of smells.  Very intimate yet distant.
