The words just seemed to hang there for minutes rather than the actual few seconds until I responded.

“Thanks I would like to accept your offer” shaking hands on the new career path I had chosen.

It was the black Swan moment, how would you know this was a life changing event

After all as the man said it was only a job.

They showed me around thebuilding it was government funded or course, everything top of the range it smelt new and clean almost clinical.

Then to my own office with a panoramic view of the city I had finally arrived after years of doing the dirty work.

I looked down into the street watching the blissfully unaware going about their daily business ,Six months later I was responsible for the death of thousands……….
