Hi, Sal. I don't think I've ever commented on one of your pieces before now, but this one commands applause. I've been a writer, editor and publisher for three decades. Your blog deserves to be the foreward in an aspiring writer's Bible. If a person has serious thoughts of being published, he or she had better take heed. Yes, an editor can fix what's broken. But only one writer in many thousands has the talent to be forgiven a disregard of the language. Bravo, my fellow red-inksman.
