What can YOU say in six sentences?
Her judgment and quality of life are impaired. She goes four, five nights without sleep and then she has to take one. The next day realizes she’s uploaded things she doesn’t remember; nor taking the time to edit; responded to emails and stories in a manner that she can’t understand. How can others?
He can’t help her while sleeping like a baby and snoring like a bear. How does one handle all that life throws at them without Ambien?

Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on December 11, 2011 at 9:56am Gita, after a while it could take you an hour for it to take effect. You never know how much time you have. Sometimes if you wake in the middle of your sleep pattern you can't think or walk properly. It's not predictable. I have written some great stuff and some stupid stuff, such as comments. My biggest fears are climbing over the balcony or driving.
Comment by Gita on December 11, 2011 at 12:53am I am SO glad to hear that I am not the only one who has posted under the influence!!
A friend gave me a few Ambiens not long ago and the first night I took one, I didn't know how FAST they take effect. So I was at my computer and got very sleepy. Apparently, I went into some sort of fugue state and wrote and posted a Six. The next day I was ASTONISHED to see it. I had absolutely zero memory of having written it. None.
I won't say which Six it was because it's still among my blogs.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on December 10, 2011 at 9:35am Yes, its a hallucinaggnic. (sp)? With me having the FMS I have other meds that are involved. I've taken myself off a couple of those now that I'm not at the Eye Care Center, but I realize I must have sleep. AAAAARGH.
It must be the most prescribed pill in the world. Many years ago I used it for sleeping, but the worst part was when I tried to wean off it. I had the most vivid and frightening dreams that clung to me all day.
Comment by Jeanette Cheezum on December 9, 2011 at 10:19pm @Angela I went for thirty years without sleep and passed out at a light. That scared me so bad that I did exactly what the doctor ordered. Ambien. I don't like to take meds so I take as few as possible.
@"T" It got to the point where I was so exhausted and the employees and patients were worried about me. I knew I had to do something. I had a lot of responsibility. I like so many women developed this as soon as I delivered my first child.
Thanks ladies for letting me share.
I know what others have said about struggling with sleep issues and I feel for them. I remember when my kids were babies and I didn't sleep. I was a maniac. That is the one thing I can't handle, lack of sleep, unless I'm partying with my favorite people in Blowing Rock. Who needs sleep when the company's so outstanding?
Good one, Jeanette.
Comment by Angela on December 9, 2011 at 8:52pm I struggled with this for a very long time, myself. Made some changes, and didn't need the stuff any more. Good six.
