It pained him to send his beautiful queen into battle, but she was brave and--despite appearances--his strongest, most agile warrior. She was in the perfect position to take the bravely mounted knight from the side and endanger the king; he was unguarded and unaware of the impending attack. He studied the battlefield with vigor; it was imperative no warrior could capture her or defend their ruler, otherwise his plan would fall through, leaving him at a severe disadvantage. It was risky, but if it played out like it was supposed to, his enemy would go for the capture and the archers tucked away in his castle would take out the vulnerable king. Sure his plan would work, a grin stretched across his face as he sent the queen to go for the kill.


He flashed a victorious smile at his opponent, "Check mate!"
