Michael Arrington is one ad hominem attack or non sequitur away from bailing on this year's political discourse altogether. I get it; your candidate is the greatest thing since . . . well, whatever your paragon of greatness might be; your candidate's opponent is a bad person / not a real Christian / an enemy of the state / a person who hates the rich / a person who hates the poor / a person who hates America / a person who hates humanity in general / an elitist who has no genuine concern for the American populace / a conspirator who wants to take away your freedom or your house or your money or your privacy or your guns. Again, I get it. And none of those claims will send me to the voting booth this fall. Whenever anyone has ideas to discuss, to quote one H. Ross Perot, I'm all ears. Until then, feel free to enjoy the circus without me -- or not.
