A Perfect Little Town: Gita's Challenge

After dinner, everyone either goes for a stroll, or stays home and sits on the porch; everyone says hello to everyone, and sometimes the people walking stop to comment on the beauty of the hydrangeas.  When the people walking get home, they wish they had left the light on, and laugh as they fumble for their keys in the dark.  The people who stayed on the porch let the screen door slam as they turn off the light and go inside.  Someone has to go back out and get the forgotten newspaper.  They always sleep with the windows wide open, because the night air is sweet and cool.  The whole darkened city is full of people who are tenderly entwined, so they never worry about the neighbors hearing the sounds of their lovemaking.

Nice account Angela; reminds me of my wife's hometown in Italy. Maybe I'll retire there one day.
