"We're going to the country this afternoon so get ready."

"What do you want me to do?"

"Well, get dressed, slice some bread and salami, cut some cheese and go to the cellar and get bottled water and a few bottles of wine. The cooler is in the closet."

"Pump the gas and we're ready to go."

Three minutes later Stefano and his wife pull into Pietro's country garden and listen to Antonio play his accordion... and what a day that was.

Hello Robert. We're going to Abruzzi in a few days. I'm currently in the Piedmont, a wine region at the base of the Alps.

That's the way to do it - you cannot beat bread, wine, cheese - nice one indeed.

Sounds like quite a day. By the way, when I said I'd been to Abruzzi the other day, I meant Perugia, where Amanda Knox came up short. Althzeimer's is a bitch.

That was quite an order for the woman to fill before they could leave!
