He expected her to do everything for him--cook, clean, fetch and carry--while he watched TV. She liked to sit at the computer and chat to her friends, but he complained. The more he complained, the more she found the need to chat to her friends. He complained more and more, "you're becoming consumed by that computer", he grumbled.  And that is just what happened, she let the computer consume her totally. He left his seat in front of the television and sat at the computer waiting for her to return.

Other - our computer and TV are in different rooms, so I hadn't thought of that. I somehow imagined him sitting waiting in front of a blank screen.

He could probably still see the tv from the seat at her computer.  Ha.  Nicely done.

Nice tale. I like how the computer devoured her presence and he just waits.

Maybe they will, Bill.

Is it, Gita? What's so different? I'd like to know where I went right!

Thank you, Joey.

I'm so pleased you liked it, Teresa.

She was starving.  She found a way to get fed.  He got jealous.  Selfish men don't like to share.  I love this piece, Diana.  It's slim and cuts down to the bone.  It's real.  Faved.

'She let the computer consume her totally.' I really liked this piece, this line, in particular. It's so relevant. Computers, iPads, smartphones--the screens are getting smaller so we look even harder, sometimes ignoring those around us. Love the six, Diana.
