1) The thunderstorm woke up the dogs who are scared of storms and 2) got in bed with me which is verboten because they had ticks as late as 3 days ago but 3) I needed to get up and start the coffee so I kicked the dogs outside to do their business which they did very quickly while I 4) threw some leftovers into a pan to cook on the stove just as 5) the boys got up to watch the storm which was getting worse until we finally 6) lost our power.
