On Judgement Day God came down and handed out gene therapy treatments and pamphlets for stem cell research, along with joints and methamphetamines for everyone.

There was no pain or suffering, death or taxes and Man entered into holy communion with God in Heaven on Earth, everyone lived happily ever after for all eternity, which lasted for about two decades.

 Soon enough man could not tell good from bad or bad from good, better from worse or sickness from health because like Donny, Man had no frame of reference.

Black was White and grey was White, everything was White, so overwhelmingly FUCKING WHITE that reality had lost all its flavor, existence had lost all its meaning, inevitably leading Man to belief in absolutely nothing anymore. 

One day Steve woke up from his pod, peered over the edge and looked into the abyss while the abyss also looked into him, a Rebel Alliance was formed freeing Man from the perfect cesspool of his own self gratification.

Eventually God was hunted down and crucified at the stake and there was there was much rejoicing, for the show MUST go on.
