As I was hurriedly moving along the river of life, I heard one of the fishes from the river shouting at me,

“Stop, take a deep breath, and pay attention to the river of life.”

I stopped, took a deep breath, and mindfully paid attention to the river.

In that moment I became present and life was not just something that was happening to me.

 It felt so peaceful.

After that I began to move along the river of life with compassionate and a mindful attitude.

The fish also asked me to tell you all, “Slow down and notice your river of life.”

Meditation is so important. I hope you get back to it again.

Mindfulness is a wonderful thing. Some days the chatter in my head is so loud that I am hardly aware of the world. To still that chatter is not always easy. You just reminded me that I used to meditate and how that slowed me down.
