Damn the devil for letting them learn to climb, my arms are getting weaker and I won't be able to hold on much longer.

With shatter proof glass we were supposed to be safe, at least long enough to refuel before the next battle, How did they get in?

I'm riding my bike alone for the first time, scored the winning touch down, Valedictorian, he says I'm the most beautiful creation God ever made, our second son is born and he has his father's eyes, we dance to 'Love Will Keep Us Alive', I manage to laugh at the irony of that last memory as they dissolve leaving me hanging on for dear life at the top of this spire.

There's only one thing left to do, I prepare myself, tears beginning to fall and His voice permeates with the audacity to recite the sixth commandment, "Fuck you and the catechism!"

I allow myself to fall on top of them, their rotting corpses bracing me long enough to snap the neck of my newborn so he won't feel the same pain as teeth tear into my flesh - the retribution so extreme I've lost the ability to scream.

HAHA people misunderstand me all the time. I have had dreams that seem to last all night and I remember them well enough to go right them down. (noticing it's only been about an hour of dreams) Then I have dreams that are great and cannot remember them.

so you meant a dream that keeps going?  sorry, misunderstood

I haven't kept a journal, but I have wandered into the office and written most of it down.

Have you ever tried to keep a dream journal?  I wake up naturally between REM cycles - every two/three hours -- so if I take a moment I remember the dream and it sticks with me even if it turns out noir. A lot of people don't remember their dreams and I'm sure while it felt like all night I possibly had several dreams in-between the saga.

There are some dreams I would like to do that.

Thanks ladies.

When I dream the story never ends. I open my eyes to look at the clock, realize I still have time left, close my eyes and it picks up right were it left off. Like if you're watching a movie but someone calls and by the time you get back you've missed a bit but the story continues...

I made it from the van to the building - there were maybe nine of us including my husband and two children. Wake. We're enjoying ourselves, free from danger. Wake. We're running and I get separated from the rest of the group.  I hear someone screaming, I think it's my husband.  Wake. I'm alone with the baby... you've read the rest.

Brava! Remind us not to get on your bad side. :)

No more zombie films indeed!  Ouch.  Glad it was just a dream.  Very effectively noir.

Holy REM sleep, Batman! This is a shock wave of a piece. That last bit, snapping the newborn's neck so it won't feel the pain? It makes perfect sense in the gruesomest way. Very Noir of you.
