The world had broken long ago. Now, when the embers of devestating fires had begun to cool, a pair of charred silhouettes emerged from the wreckage. They clung to each other, stumbling amongst twisted earth and gaping sky. A smoky silence rubbed their faces. They didn't speak, because they couldn't. The destruction of the world had stolen more than just their home.
