Reading the dictionary at work is probably not the best idea because while my mental fingers linger over foxglove, I lose interest in doing anything else. Imperfects, Borrowed
The first snow falls and people beat feet to the grocery store where parking lot-shopping aisle scenes unfold:
Sleepwalking legs propel her down every aisle, brown eyes looking for exactly nothing that can be found on a shelf.
His legs scissor-walk the lot, out of patience, out of time, list balled in a fist and hoping to God the crying babies are all at home.
