we know that voice
she wrote in ALL CAPS AND EXCLAMATION MARKS! she did it on a dare because someone said she couldn't do it--it was too out of character. it was as if a firecracker went off on the floor next to us making us jump and wonder where the heck did THAT come from? she was standing in the hall, watching the commotion, waiting for us to ask. she graced us with a smile, like a secret she's keeping even from heaven. imagine that.

Punk Fairy
she was of two minds that morning...well, she was of two minds every morning, and just about every moment of every day, but that's how it is when you're a fairy trying to stomp the image of tacky sugar plum tutus and dollar store magic wands--PHOOEY!
she sunk a shot of jack and breathed real slow, like they taught her in tai chi back when they thought they could slow her down just a little, and glowed in the burn and smiled in the fuzzy-head feeling that comes when you haven't enough…
