My Dearest Santa,

We’ve been down this slippery slope before and it’s getting tiresome. For the past two years, I have broken my knuckles practicing my best handwriting for that mole Mrs. Mundle so that I can again send a special letter to the North Pole asking for a most ‘got-to-have-it’ Christmas gift. Dog Days

I’ve been away, tucked with my wife … painting dogs … well, she handled the dogs; I did the other stuff. The dog days are finally over, at least until this weekend when the best of show happens. There will be a fund-raiser and an exhibit of ninety dogs rendered by six artists. The owners of these dogs will come and admire their lovely pet. It’s all for a great cause. Woof.
