Piecing a Jigsaw Puzzle Apart, Back into the Box

Open my heart up and only blood comes out.
Being without you feels like being without me.
Being without you reminds me of my infancy before I could breath.
I could make her love me if I told her the things I want to tell you.
I could make her leave me if I told her the truth.
Seeing you with another man feels like seeing you in a coffin
And happier than you've ever been.

Piecing a Jigsaw Puzzle Apart

Pressed up against the window with an air duct beneath my bare toes,

My mind can't forget what my heart knows.

My mind can't forget where my heart goes.

I thought that I forgot.

My breath collects against the window, but my palm leaves behind the only mark.

My best intentions condense before me.

I still have one hand free, but neither one can reach.
