we were just sugar, spinning around for the hell of it, trying out for a little piece of giddiness and fun, something to make the time go faster in otherwise boring days.

until the spinning teased us apart and wrapped us back around each other in a foam of candy floss, a new shape, amorphous, light and lovely and we didn't notice it was full of holes…

The old familiar sting (first line challenge)

I hurt myself today.

JK--Condolences to you on the loss of your cat.  Thank you for your note.  I just spent the first night in 10 years at home without the loving weight of Andy on my legs while I slept.  I know how awful it is to lose a pet.  Andy was suffering and I could not let that go on.

omg I'm SOOO sorry, JK!!!! I needed to tell you and didn't: We need to get married. There's this new Piaggio scooter that goes in excess of 125mph, well, Gilera GT800 it's called. They sell it in Doitchland. But not the US. So, if you're not doin' anything... Wait, do you have a garage? Look at the bright side, I could tag along with Sandra's hubby to the Carmelites' rides and stuff...? Maybe?
