The wind whispers as it passes us and he held me closer to him, the sun is hot but I still needed him to hold me closer to keep me warm. As I stand the rain keeps falling. Every drop forcing me closer to the ground, Lower and lower till my knees hit. The once soft dirt had morphed into a river of mud sweeping the ants away. They like me are beyond help now, we are already to far into the raging water, it is all we can see, all we can feel, all we can taste, as it drags us towards death. As I kneel in the mud on what was once my place, our place, I see that it is too late. I am already swept away.
