On a Rocky Ledge

I saw the old man and was stunned to see how vigorous he looked. The old man saw me standing and climbed up the ledge without even breathing hard.He had a clear brow, clear eyes and a wide wrinkle free mouth.I complemented him on his youthful looks and vigor. He smiled and bend his head closer to mine as if to whisper the secret of eternal youth in my ear.I felt his teeth at my neck and heard a rustling whisper, "my, son, blood is Life."See More

The Invokation

There were no sulphurous odors or any change in the ambiance, but after reciting the incantations for an hour, I was pretty sure that the Prince of darkness was there in the room with me.“O Prince, I want to be rich”, said I in a soft whisper.“Really? Would you settle for a dollar raise in your lunch money? Any other demand?”“Yes, Why do you sound like my father?” asked I with a sinking feeling in my heart.“That’s because I AM your father and its way past your bedtime.”“And tell your mother Lou…See More

"A nice sneek peak into the motives of a psychopath. Treating the humans as mere models (or means) to justify their twisted tendencies. The lack of humanness deeply inherent in all the psychopathic subjects."

Tafreeh!

I watched her as she struggles to climb out of the well, her hand all bloody with the torn finger nails; her moans sounded like chimes on a slow summer day.As she crawled to the bottom rung of the ladder, my shot shattered it and she fell back with a cry half of desperation and half of fear. She looked at the projecting stones of the old well and then at my encouraging smile. My laughter echoed as the stones I had loosed earlier slipped out of her grip and hit her feet. She looked at me and cried…See More

Victory

The savages attacked in great hordes and by night my city fell.

As I watched, their leader rode in on a strange beast with no legs.

He watched as his soldiers erected a statute of his god.

He stood before it and recited out the victory prayer.

On the screen of my language translator appeared the words:
“Houston, this is Star Command. Mission Accomplished"
