Blackened coal hardened and cold, it sits on the ground discarded.
Was it always thus or was it much more than a lump of dried rock.
Do we stop living when we have more in common with inanimate objects than that which has life?
Is it a sign that we are withering away inside?
Is it better for the soul to die an unseen death; can one live without a soul or can the soul exist without?
That lump of coal is fuel for fire, so then is my soul fuel for hell and will it burst… Continue
