Walking along the curve of a white cracked ball I whistle a tune from him. Before I know it I fall into the iris and see her. She says she wants me and I  hold her, eat her and make love to her. And in those moments I make a decision that she is all I want to know and all I want to live. Life was nothing until now. Then with force and empathy Truth grasps my hair and whispers,
"I shall set you free."

Bluegrass, from the depth of America's South, bellows and twangs out speakers and into my wanting ears. Eyes, they close, as the soul sways like a lakeside willow tree. My heart swells with love, electric guitars and banjos. I can taste the notes and the chords. I can see Summer waving her pretty hand down the dirt roads. Wind blows, picks me up and I can only see her below, below.

Morning shines her face through mauve drapes as our limbs entwine beneath cashmere sheets. He kisses my forehead and places his hand at the small of my back. I know what he wants.
