Richard-- The artwork of A Taste of Old Revenge is being done by an English graphic-novel artist by the name of Adam Grose. Met him in a fantasy fan site called Wonderlands. Can;'t wait to see the cover in color.

Thanks for the congrats on my blog post and for the advice on avoiding jet leg. I never would've thought of trying to arrive in the evening, but I just might try it now. I just noticed that you've added more pics since last time I visited. I like the skeletons.

Co-mingling is an excellent idea. I'm very interested in experiencing the vibe in Cali. :) I know several people from here who will share their work.

Your first person pieces you speak of will fit perfectly as we are allowed 3-5 minutes (depending on how many people show up) to read anything we like (family safe topics). I'm going to check out Story Salon, I'm sure we could learn a lot from the longest running story telling venue. I look forward to collaborating with you in November - in the mean time I hope to talk with you when your busy schedule allows.

Thank you for your blog comment. Actually, I never sent this one in...I simply wrote it about my grandmother...so yes it's very truthful. Unfortunately, she passed away this weekend...so chances are I will be writing another. And honestly, I never even realized it was a six...lol...I know that sounds weird...but honestly, I had no idea. I think that perhaps I've been writing so much in sixes it must have just come without even thinking. I may send it in...but I don't know just yet.

Thank you again!

Aromassentials:

Her finger traced an abstract pattern across my palm before she placed the bottle in it. “This is a rejuvenating scent that I think might you might enjoy, being it’s naturally derived from several aromatic sources. You’ll have to let me know if you like it, before you leave.” I took the blue obelisk shaped factice in my hands, uncorked the stopper and immediately the opiate scent of lavender, cherry blossoms and jasmine sent an uncontrollable tsunami of memories of women from my youth racing pel… Continue

Once in a Lifetime Opportunity:

When I was sixteen, I managed to impress one of my Aunts from Los Angeles’ boyfriends with my knowledge of film and the film making process. He was a Camera Operator, named Jim Hoover, whose specialty was to ride on the inside (and sometimes the outside) of cars with stuntmen driving. Jim thought I was cool enough, to offer to have me to come down to Los Angeles for that summer and train as his camera assistant. My Mother decided that it wouldn’t be right for me to go, because, and I quote, she… Continue
