About Me:

Olive Rosehips. My youngest child had a sweet little stuffed dog and chose to call it Olive. Using Olive to capture fantasies for a while we heard so much of "In Olive's world ...". I came to treasure Olive and so I borrowed her likeness. While a child myself, my father seemed hooked on vitamins. It intrigued me that he insisted we take vitamin C with rose hips. Later when I became a gardener and planted my first rose "blue boy" I discovered to my delight that there really was such a thing as a rose hip. It was a sumptuous, red berry full of rose seed and I thought then and there that hips were hot and I was glad to have some of my own.

What about me? My writing is mildly humorous and about real life. Computer engineer (geek), graphic artist and I currently teach at a high school in order to be available to my families needs. I have a wonderful husband whom I have loved for 25 years. I have two sons; a teen and a tween. I love to write, design web sites and create drawings and graphic art. I have a sense of humor and live in high heels. I enjoy my flower garden and threatening the lives of the rabbits who do also. I love to cook. And to eat.
